Tuesday, May 27, 2008
On Tuesday, October 31st, Hocking College broke ground for the new $18 million student housing project behind John Light Hall. The project includes two 7-story buildings that will have 400 beds. The two buildings will share a space on the ground floor, will have a second-floor connecting walkway, and will also have classrooms, conference rooms, and student lounges and community space.
This project is moving along nicely and will be ready to house eager students Fall quarter 2008. They say that some special activity groups will use the the new residence hall this summer. It is an impressive facility. Actual photo is HERE.
The photo insert was taken the last week in May and is the building on the left, in the rendering.
