The International Bowhunters Event is the Third Leg Triple Crown of bowhunting and a local shoot.  This is a 40-target event with several bowhunting related exhibitors and information. 

 

The practice range and the bowhunters defense range open at 3:00 p.m. Thursday but the competition does not start until Friday morning.  Ranges open at 7:00 a.m. each day and spectators are encouraged to watch from the practice range where shooters warm up.  On Saturday afternoon, kids nine years old and under compete in the peewee class. This event is a 10-target round and they shoot for the best scores. 

 

Prizes will be awarded at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday for both the IBO Challenge and the national championship.  There is no admission fee.
